As an academic program manager of the MBA program „Sustainable Mobility Management“ my key responsibilities are to design an educative and interdisciplinary study program and guarantee a smooth semester planning. Scientific researcher in the field of transport and territorial economics; his activity concerns in particular the themes of smart and sustainable mobility, infrastructures and territorial development. He carried on specific projects in the fields of urban mobility, regional, urban and infrastructures planning, Energy policies and ICT for transport and mobility.
He has been involved in R&D Projects funded by the European Commission (Horizon 2020, 7th and 6th Framework Programme, Interreg, Marco Polo, DG TREN-DG MOVE Projects) since 2002.

I am co-founder of “Luftlabor” (planning agency for welfare-oriented use of delivery drones) and project coordinator of “Berlin Mobility Data Hub”. I hold a PhD in mobility history (“Cultural and architectural history of waiting for railways, 1830-1935”), and I am a lecturer at TU Berlin and for MBA “Sustainable Mobility Management”
My Research interests are about mobility, its cultural history as well as sustainable mobility futures (drones, Advanced Air Mobility).

My work explores technology and its wide effects on economic, social and cultural fields, exploring its long-term trends. I focus on the crucial topics of sustainability, justice and environmental studies, specializing in transitions, futures and cultural shifts.
In more than two decades of experience in the field, I have acquired many research grants from national and international (both private and public) funding schemes, opening meaningful international dialogue on the long-term assessment of technology and its transition toward a smart and sustainable future.
Currently, I am Academic Coordinator of the MBA Sustainable Mobility Management at the Technische Universitaet Berlin, as well as a scientist in ongoing research projects. I teach for MBAs, Master programs, summer schools, and professional courses, both in Germany and abroad.
My 120+ publications encompass books (as author, editor and co-editor) and articles in international journals. From 2017, I am editor-in-chief of The Journal of Transport History.
My aim in both my academic and consultancy work is to share and build knowledge, in cooperation with industry, academia, public agencies and NGOs.

Since 2007 she carries out research and project management activities in several cooperation and research projects at international (Interreg, FP7) and national level on regional development, sustainable energy and mobility, innovation and SMEs.
Her scientific fields of interest include sustainability management, corporate social responsibility, sustainable mobility and environmental management.
Her responsibilities include among others project coordination and financial management of international projects, budget planning, preparation of reports for the European Commission and other funding authorities.
Further experiences include the development of studies, concepts and guidelines, training materials, content related and organizational preparation and review of workshops and media-events, marketing and public relations.
